Privacy Policy

The Qalatra desktop application is local-first: your tasks, notes, and habits never leave your machine — the app has no server to send them to, and we have no interest in collecting them.

Our paid, hosted services — the Qalatra web app, our mobile apps, and Fleet servers — do require an account, and payments are handled by Stripe. For those we receive the limited account and billing information described below. We never sell your data.

Newsletter and waitlist signups. If you submit your email address through our website, we store it via our email platform (GoHighLevel) to send you product updates and tips. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email we send.

Download counts. GitHub provides aggregate download statistics for our releases. We see a number — not who downloaded.

Website visits. Our hosting provider may log standard HTTP request data (IP address, browser, referring URL). We do not use any analytics service beyond this.

Account information. To use our paid hosted web and mobile apps you create an account. We store what is needed to run it — your name (if provided), email address, a securely hashed password, and your organization and team membership — so you can sign in and so we can check whether your subscription is active.

Payments (Stripe). Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. When you subscribe, your card and billing details are collected and processed by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy policy — we do not store your full card number. We keep only the billing records we need (such as your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, seat count, and subscription status) to manage your account and entitlement.

Web and mobile apps. The Qalatra web app and our iPhone, iPad and Android apps sign in to your account and check your seat with us. Your tasks, notes, files and the photos you attach go directly to the Qalatra server you connect, using an access token you create; we do not keep a copy. The mobile apps contain no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting code.

Qalatra Cloud servers. A Cloud server is a dedicated machine we provision and operate for you, so the data on it sits on infrastructure we run. We access it only to operate, secure and support the service, and we delete it when the server is torn down.

The Qalatra desktop application collects no telemetry, usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind. There is no tracking code in the app. Your task database, daily notes, habits, and agent configurations exist only on your machine.

The only network request the app makes is an optional check to GitHub's public API to see if a new version is available. This can be disabled in Settings. No personal data is transmitted in that request.

Email platform. Subscriber emails are stored in GoHighLevel. Their privacy policy applies to data we hand off to them.

GitHub. Our source code, releases, and issues are hosted on GitHub (Microsoft). Their privacy policy applies.

Stripe. Stripe, Inc. processes subscription payments and stores your payment details under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to anyone.

You may request deletion of your email from our newsletter list at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us at [email protected].

If you have a hosted account, you can cancel your subscription at any time and request deletion of your account and its data by emailing the same address; see deleting your account for the steps. Some billing records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. The desktop app stores its data only on your machine, so that data is already entirely yours.

Qalatra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and note the change in our changelog. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
