Windows & Linux users: the installer is unsigned. Windows SmartScreen will warn you — click More info → Run anyway. On Linux, you may need to
chmod +x the AppImage. Code-signing for both platforms is not done yet; until it is, every release is unsigned.Requirements

- Linux: glibc 2.31+ (Ubuntu 20.04+, Fedora 33+)
- 4 GB RAM · 200 MB disk
- Any CLI agent (Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Cursor) — optional
Privacy
- The desktop app: no telemetry, no analytics, no account needed.
- SQLite database lives in ~/.qalatra/
- Daily notes: plain markdown, your folder
- MCP server is local-only (localhost:3457)
- Auto-update checks GitHub releases. Disable in settings.
